Members of Kamchi Kolbaev's crime group extort 1 million soms from convict
A case of extortion of money by former members of Kamchi Kolbaev’s organized crime group has been revealed in one of the country’s correctional facilities, the press service of the Penitentiary Service informed 24.kg news agency.
Employees of the Penitentiary Service, together with representatives of the security services, stopped the criminal activity of a group of prisoners who, through threats, extorted 1 million soms from another convict. The Investigative Department of the Penitentiary Service opened a case under the article «Extortion» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
