More than $1,500 billion transferred to Kyrgyzstan from Russia in 2024
Migrants transferred $1,552.4 billion to Kyrgyzstan from Russia from January to July 2024. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic provided the data.
According to the central bank, a total of $1,671.6 billion was transferred to the Kyrgyz Republic during the specified period. This is more than for the same period in 2023 ($1,566 billion) and less than the volumes for January — July 2022 ($1.7 billion).
The National Bank takes into account transactions of individuals through money transfer systems, banking mobile applications (bank cards) and e-wallets.
