Plant producing 300,000 tons of metal products annually launched in Kyrgyzstan
Deputy Director of the State Construction Agency Bakai Turdugulov visited a new metallurgical plant in the city of Kaiyndy in Panfilov district. At the first stage, the plant will produce 300,000 tons of metal products per year. The agency reported.
The project is being implemented by Metal-Ken company with the support of the Chinese Fujian International Trade Corporation TAIHAO. The plant employs more than 300 people, most of whom are local residents. The Chinese side is training employees for the future management of the enterprise.
The plant produces steel reinforcement, wire rod and round bars, which meet all standards. The products have already received positive feedbacks both in the local and international markets with long-term contracts for supplies to the EAEU countries, Uzbekistan and Europe.
