China to allocate 200 million yuan to Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with the Chairman of China International Development Cooperation Agency Luo Zhaohui in Beijing.
The parties discussed topical issues of Kyrgyzstan — China partnership, the progress of implementation of the tasks set by President Sadyr Japarov and President of China Xi Jinping, bilateral agreements reached earlier and issues on the agenda of the meeting.
The meeting participants reviewed the current state of implementation of projects between the Kyrgyz Republic and China included in the list of priority projects under the grant assistance of the Government of the People’s Republic of China, as well as the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
An agreement on grant assistance between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China was signed. The Government of China will provide the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic with grant aid totaling 200 million yuan (more than 2.3 billion soms) for the implementation of future agreements on projects.
