School building in Sokuluk worth 255 million soms returned to state
The building of school in Sokuluk district with a total area of 18,060 square meters has been returned to state ownership. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
The estimated value of the school is 255,649 million soms. It was illegally privatized in 1992 by the Shopokov agricultural cooperative. In 2006, the Ministry of Education signed an agreement on purchase of the building for 12,500 million soms, but after the specified amount was transferred to the cooperative’s account, the building was not returned to the state.
After inspections and measures taken, the building of the educational institution was returned to state ownership.
