Construction of new Osh market to be completed next year
The construction of new Osh market will be completed next year. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov announced on social media and showed the construction process.
According to him, the construction work is proceeding efficiently and actively.
«God willing, starting next year, our vendors will start working in a closed modern bazaar, where it will be warm and comfortable all four seasons,» the head of state posted.
A year ago, Emilbek Abdykadyrov, being the mayor of the capital, announced that the Osh market would be moved outside the city. The idea was supported by President Sadyr Japarov.
The new Osh market will be located in a multifunctional town on the western side of Fuchik Street. The total area of the planned territory is 162 hectares. Bus stations of the capital will also be moved there and a car assembly plant will be built.
