China is interested in opening branches of its manufacturing enterprises in Kyrgyzstan. The Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning said at a meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Shakiev.
«In addition, Wang Huning noted that relations between the two countries have been actively developing in recent years. In the first six months of 2024, the trade between Kyrgyzstan and China reached $9 billion and increased by 17.6 percent,» the press service of the Parliament said in a statement.
According to it, the parties also discussed the issue of increasing number of flights between the countries.
