EAEU to change standards of application of regulation on safety of toys
The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) approved changes to the program for the development of interstate standards that ensure the implementation and application of technical regulations «On the Safety of Toys». The website of the EEC says.
The changes provide for the development of four interstate standards in 2025-2026, which will concern the requirements for board games for the development of the sense of smell and sets for the manufacture of perfumes and cosmetics, as well as methods for determining the level of migration of harmful chemicals.
It is also planned to develop an interstate standard for determining the level of migration of vinyl acetate from textile materials and polymers based on the methodology developed by the commission as part of its research work.
