Independence Day: Kamchybek Tashiev awarded rank of Colonel General
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov promoted the head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev to the rank of Colonel General. It was announced at the awarding ceremony, which is taking place in the building of the new administration of the head of state.
The rank was awarded for a significant contribution to ensuring the national security of the Kyrgyz Republic, strengthening the state border and effectively combating corruption.
At the event, the head of state noted the role of Kamchybek Tashiev in improving security of the country, strengthening borders, reforming law enforcement and security forces, as well as uncompromising fight against corruption.
