Son of ex-president Almazbek Atambayev swims across the Bosphorus
The son of former president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev has swum across the Bosphorus. Member of the Parliament Seidbek Atambayev took part in the Intercontinental Swim across the strait between Europe and Asia Minor, which connects the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara.
He swam across the strait in 1 hour, 19 minutes, and 4 seconds.
The Cross-Continental Bosphorus Swim is an annual open-water swimming competition organized by the Turkish Olympic Committee. The competition was held for the 36th time in 2024.
Every year, 2,500 swimmers from all over the world take part in the Bosphorus swim, and the popularity of this competition is constantly growing.
