Kyrgyz Kurosh World Championship: Team of Kyrgyzstan wins first four medals
The World Championship in Kyrgyz Kurosh and the President’s Cup are being held in Bishkek.
According to the press service of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, the national team won four medals on the first day of the competitions.
Begai Beishenaaly kyzy took first place in the weight category up to 60 kilograms, her colleague Begaim Akbalaeva won bronze.
In the weight category up to 65 kilograms, Aidana Kubanychbekova took the second place.
Nazira Aryzbekova won bronze in the weight category over 65 kilograms.
Baktiyar Mirlan uulu won the President’s Cup in the absolute division, and Bekbolot Toktogonov took third place.
More than 200 athletes from 35 countries are taking part in the competitions.
