Culture Ministry purchases equipment for large-scale shows for 350 million soms
Officials of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan demonstrated new equipment for holding large-scale events.
According to the head of the ministry, Altynbek Maksutov, the cost of the equipment is 350 million soms, it includes stage and switching equipment; lighting equipment and light processing devices; LED screens and sound equipment.
It is planned that it will be used, for example, to hold the World Nomad Games.
As officials noted, previously similar equipment had to be rented for $2 million.
New equipment is being installed on Ala-Too square — the creative team of the Ministry of Culture is beginning rehearsals for a mass theatrical performance dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region.
