$240.3 million transferred from Kyrgyzstan for six months of 2024
At least $240.3 million was transferred from Kyrgyzstan for the first six months of 2024. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan provided the data.
This is less than in the same period of 2023, when the outflow amounted to $283.9 million.
The statistics include transactions of individuals through money transfer systems, as well as bank mobile applications (bank cards) and electronic wallets.
The amount of transfers to the Kyrgyz Republic is much higher. According to the central bank, more than $1.4 billion was transferred to the country from January to June 2024.
