Second stage of Sambo World Cup: Kyrgyzstanis win 5 more bronze medals
The second stage of the Sambo World Cup continues in Cholpon-Ata city. Competitions are held in four disciplines — men’s sport sambo; men’s combat sambo; women’s sport sambo; women’s combat sambo.
On August 16, athletes competed in the weight categories up to 58, 64, 71, 79, 88, 98 and 98+ kilograms in combat sambo and among women in the weight categories of 59, 65 and 72 kilograms.
Members of the national team of Kyrgyzstan won five bronze medals.
Bael Dzhakshulukov (up to 79 kilograms), Shakhriyor Idrisov (98 kilograms), Zamirbek uulu Kurmanbek and Sherzat Kudaiberdiev (71 kilograms) entered the top three in their weight categories.
