National Bank to start determining official exchange rate of yuan from September
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan will start determining the official exchange rate of the Chinese yuan from September 1. The relevant amendments have been made to the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic «On approval of the «Rules for determining the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Kyrgyz som», the bank’s website says.
The exchange rate of the Chinese yuan against the Kyrgyz som will be updated on a daily basis.
The document will be sent to the Ministry of Justice for inclusion in the State Register of Regulatory Legal Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Department of Monetary Operations has to bring this resolution to the attention of commercial banks, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the Customs and Tax Services and the National Statistical Committee.
