Another mudflow registered in Cholpon-Ata city: Streets flooded
The main work to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation caused by heavy rains is actively underway in Issyk-Kul region. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, the minister Boobek Azhikeev took personal control of the course of the liquidation of the consequences of the mudflow.
It is noted that one more mudflow was registered on August 12 at about 9.20 p.m. due to heavy rains. The streets of Cholpon-Ata city were flooded.
Flood waters overflowed the banks of Toguz-Bulak canal and flooded the courtyard of a neighboring residential building.
Work on elimination of the consequences of the mudflow continues.
