Drunk man threatened people with weapon in Issyk-Kul region
A man, who threatened people with a weapon, has been detained in Ton district. The Internal Affairs Department of Issyk-Kul region informed 24.kg news agency.
According to it, the resident of Toguz-Bulak village drove a car while being drunk and had a firearm with ammunition with him.
Police detained the 39-year-old man on Balykchi-Bokonbaevo-Karakol highway. A smooth-bore firearm with ammunition without permits was found in the car.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 208 «Hooliganism» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. By decision of the investigator of the police department of Ton district, the suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility for 48 hours. An investigation is underway.
