Social Fund tells about average pension size after increase in October
After an increase in October, the average total pension will be 10,547 soms. The Chairman of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan, Baktiyar Aliyev, told at a press conference.
He recalled that in June President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree that provides for indexation of the insurance part of the pension by 18 percent from October 1.
«The total amount of assigned pensions below 6,900 soms will be brought up to the minimum subsistence level (6,900 soms. — Note of 24.kg news agency). According to preliminary calculations, the number of pensioners will reach 787,500 people by October 1. The average pension will reach 10,547 soms,» Baktiyar Aliyev said.
The basic part of the pension was increased in Kyrgyzstan in July to 3,500 soms for those, who received below the established rate of 3,170 soms.
