Security services of Kyrgyzstan detain Uzbekistani wanted by Interpol
A citizen of Uzbekistan wanted by Interpol has been detained in Kyrgyzstan. The press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported.
According to the security services, the detainee and his accomplices issued fake customs cargo declarations. The state budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan suffered damage of more than 12 million Uzbek sums (almost $955,000).
By decision of the Batken District Court, the detainee was placed in a pretrial detention center. The investigation continues.
