New international airport to be built in Jalal-Abad in 2025
A new international airport will be built in Jalal-Abad in 2025. The Chairman of the Board of Manas International Airport JSC Manasbek Samidinov announced at a press conference.
According to him, about 300 hectares of land have already been allocated for construction. The future of the old airport, which is located in the city center, is still unknown. Perhaps, a new microdistrict will appear in its place.
«We have received all the necessary conclusions for construction of the international airport. The design is being prepared. We plan to begin construction next year,» Manasbek Samidinov added.
