Edil Baisalov: We see a real growth in living standards of the population
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov took part in a round table, where the results of a new cluster survey on many indicators were presented. The press service of the Cabinet reported.
As part of the survey, the National Statistical Committee interviewed 7,200 households throughout Kyrgyzstan on 185 indicators related to health care, education and social protection of women and children.
We see a real growth in the standard of living of the population, reflected in the growth of income, consumption and savings.

«We are happy to see that this leads to an improvement in the lives of children, which is the government’s top priority of investing in human capital, investing in the future, investing in a healthy and educated population. This is the most important goal of Kyrgyzstan’s national development,» Edil Baisalov said.
The document is aimed at reducing the burden of payment of insurance contributions for bona fide employers. If the employer previously paid insurance premiums of 17.25 percent from own funds, he or she will now pay 2.25 percent.
«I would like to remind you that payments to the Social Fund have been reduced by 15 percent for most of the private sector, and we expect that this will allow bona fide employers in small and medium-sized businesses to increase wages of hired employees by at least 10 percent in the near future,» Edil Baisalov concluded.
