Senior assistant prosecutor detained in Talas region for extortion
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) together with the Internal Investigation Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office detained a senior assistant prosecutor of Aitmatov district of Talas region (former deputy prosecutor for Bakai-Ata district). The press center of the SCNS reported.
According to it, the man extorted 100,000 soms from the head of the company for resolving issues related to tax deductions in favor of the state.
Pre-trial proceedings are underway on the aforementioned fact. The Talas City Court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for the man.
