Office of Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan to be opened in Nizhny Novgorod
An office of the Consul of Kyrgyzstan will be opened in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The government of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation reported.
It is noted that the post of Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic has been established with a consular district that includes the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. This position will be taken by the head of one of the IT companies Vadim Yun.
According to Nizhny Novgorod Minister of International and Interregional Relations Olga Guseva, the appointment of the seventh Honorary Consul in the city will emphasize its importance as a center of international relations and strengthen the region’s reputation as an attractive place for investment and cooperation.
«The consular office will become a bridge for strengthening trade and economic ties between the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and Kyrgyzstan, and will also allow to step up the development of joint projects in the field of industry and agriculture, establish cultural exchange — hold exhibitions, concerts and other events. This will give residents of the region the opportunity to learn more about Kyrgyz culture,» she said.
