Kyrgyzstan imposes restrictions on import of saplings of fruit and berry trees
Kyrgyzstan introduced a temporary restriction on the import of saplings of varieties of fruit and berry trees. The corresponding resolution was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to Toktom information and legal portal, in order to ensure food security by increasing the efficiency of agricultural production and control of saplings of fruit and berry trees imported into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers introduced a temporary restriction for a period of six months on import (except for re-export, transit through the Kyrgyz Republic and movement from one subject of the EAEU to another within its territory) of saplings of varieties of fruit and berry trees to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the exception of the varieties of fruit and berry trees specified in the resolution.
