Bishkek takes 197th place in ranking of most expensive cities in world
Analytical agency Numbeo has updated the ranking of the most expensive cities, which includes 218 cities from all parts of the world. Bishkek took 197th place.
The leaders of the ranking are Geneva, Zurich and New York.
There are 12 U.S. cities in the top 20. London takes 13th place and Singapore — 18th place.
Analysts recognized Almaty and Astana as the most expensive in Central Asia, which take 164th and 176th places, respectively. Tashkent is in 201st place.
