Residents of Leilek renounce extremist ideology of Hizb ut-Tahrir
Four citizens renounced religious extremist views in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. The Internal Affairs Department of the region reported.
According to it, previously convicted residents of Leilek district — 50-year-old, 49-year-old, 35-year-old and 38-year-old men — voluntarily renounced the ideology of the religious extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir.
They stated this in their video message and noted that they no longer have anything to do with the extremist movement and do not support the prohibited ideology.
Explanatory measures are carried out for citizens of the region involved in the extremist ideology.
