Electronic tracking bracelets used in Karakol city
Electronic tracking bracelets for convicts began to be used in pilot mode in Karakol city, Issyk-Kul region. The press service of the Probation Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
«The goal is to increase the efficiency of control over probation clients. Supervision is carried out through electronic bracelets or a special mobile application. They are applied exclusively to those who have committed a violent crime, including family violence,» it added.
