Over 16,000 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps seized in shopping center
At least 141,159 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps were seized from illegal circulation during a raid. The State Tax Service reported.
About 125,000 packs were seized in Vasilyevka village, Chui region, 16,159 packs were seized in Bereket Universal shopping center in Bishkek.
Measures will be taken against entrepreneurs in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The state service recalled that a fine of 65,000 soms is provided for the sale of up to 1,000 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps. For sale of more than 1,000 packs, imprisonment for up to five years is possible.
