Melis Turgunbaev relieved of his post as Natural Resources Minister
Melis Turgunbaev has been relieved of his post as Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan due to his transfer to another job. The press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Sadyr Japarov signed a corresponding decree.
He had worked at the post since March 2023.
According to sources of 24.kg news agency, the head of the Accounts Chamber Almazbek Akmatov and Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision Melis Turgunbaev have been proposed as candidates for the vacant position of the National Bank Chairman.
