Public transport to be free in Bishkek during Ait namaz on June 16
Public transport will be free in the capital during the festive Ait namaz (prayer). The press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
The municipality reminded that the festive morning prayer will take place on June 16 in the mosques of the capital.
In order to reduce traffic congestion and taking into account the reconstruction of roads and adjacent facilities in the capital, the City Hall of Bishkek recommends all citizens to use free public transport on Kurman Ait.
On June 16, citizens can travel to places of prayer from 5.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. free of charge on buses and trolleybuses of the City Hall.
Public transport will be free throughout the city.
