Internal Affairs Minister instructs to step up security during tourist season
The issue of a successful tourist season concerns not only the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region. The Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Niyazbekov said.
The Minister of Internal Affairs held an online meeting dedicated to the work of internal affairs bodies on protection of public order and successful summarizing of the results of six months of 2024.
«A garrison mounting took place on June 8, which marked the opening of the summer tourist season in Issyk-Kul region. During the event, the main tasks were set, requirements were indicated. All territorial bodies of internal affairs must flawlessly fulfill the duties assigned to you. Consistently and qualitatively fulfill the instructions aimed at ensuring law and order, work in a reinforced mode,» Ulan Niyazbekov said.
According to him, the issue of security during the tourist season will be considered at the next board meeting, and a separate assessment will be given to each region.
