Escaped two years ago prisoner detained in Bishkek
A man wanted for escape from prison was detained in Bishkek. The press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Leninsky district of the capital reported.
According to the police, information was received on June 10 that the wanted man, 35, was at the intersection of Kuliev and Kievskaya streets.
The man escaped from the prison in 2022, where he was serving a sentence for infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim.
A criminal case was opened under article 280 «Hooliganism» of the Criminal Code. The necessary expertise has been ordered. The man was taken to the temporary detention center.
The investigation continues.
