Two intersections on central streets closed for repairs in Bishkek
Two intersections on the central streets of Bishkek will be closed for repairs. The press service of the City Hall reported.
As part of the major road repairs, the intersection of Baytik Baatyr and Suerkulov streets will be closed on June 8 from 9 a.m. till midnight, and on June 8-9 — the intersection of Akhunbaev and Toktonaliev streets.
The City Hall asks car owners to choose their route in advance.
Road repairs are underway in Bishkek. The section of Akhunbaev Street from 7 April Street to Dostoevsky Street, as well as from Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue to Maldybaev Street, is completely closed for traffic.
In addition, Baytik Baatyr Street from the Southern highway to Mederov Street was closed for repairs. And a section of Chui Avenue from Manas Avenue to Panfilov Street will be closed on June 10. Other streets in the capital are also closed.
It is planned to repair four more main streets in 2024. Work is expected to begin in the near future.
