Cost of vacation on Issyk-Kul lake to increase by 20-30 percent in 2024
The cost of vacation on Issyk-Kul lake is expected to increase in 2024. The head of the Tourism Development Support Fund, Kudret Taychabarov, told 24.kg news agency.
He stressed that prices will rise by 20-30 percent. This is due to high demand among vacationers.
«Compared to Russia and Kazakhstan, our cost is slightly lower, the same as in Turkey. There is a good service there,» Kudret Taychabarov said.
In 2023, the budget of Kyrgyzstan received 2,622,083 billion soms in tax revenues from tourism.
On average, one foreign tourist spends $100-200 per day, $700-1,000 per week in the Kyrgyz Republic.
