Future minimum pension in Kyrgyzstan to be 6,800 soms
From October 1, all pensions assigned by the Social Fund will be at least 6,800 soms. President Sadyr Japarov said at a nationwide meeting on social mobilization Zhany Kadam.
«I asked to speed up the solution of this issue. God willing, the first stage of pension increase will begin on July 1,» he said.
The President added that the country’s authorities will continue working in this direction.
«We will work hard to raise our payments and social security benefits above the subsistence minimum as soon as possible,» Sadyr Japarov promised.
