National Bank’s assets in gold amount to 137.3 billion soms
At the end of January 2024, the National Bank’s assets in gold were estimated at 137,367.3 billion soms. The website of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic says.
Over the month, the figure increased by 7,569.4 billion soms. In 2023, the level of assets in gold was 1.6 times less.
In addition, non-monetary gold and gold reserves of the National Bank are estimated at 128,054.1 billion soms. Over the month they increased by 10.2 million soms. Compared to last year, the figure decreased by 19.1 billion soms.
