Digital Outpatient Medical Record System introduced nationwide
More than 17,000 healthcare workers are using the Digital Outpatient Medical Record System. Chingiz Beksultanov, director of the Electronic Healthcare Center announced on the air of Birinchi Radio.
According to Beksultanov, this important product for polyclinics began to be implemented in May 2023.
«Without it, it’s impossible to account for all primary care services. In 2024 alone, more than 10 million outpatient visits were registered in the system. This means we can confidently say that the system is operational in all family medicine centers, family doctor groups, and feldsher -midwife stations across the country,» he said.
It was previously reported that the system includes digital recording of patients’ medical history, centralized data storage, integration with laboratory and diagnostic systems, and a schedule of doctor appointments. It enables the generation of reports and analytics for disease statistics analysis and resource planning. It also reduces the bureaucratic burden on healthcare workers by minimizing the time spent searching for and collecting necessary information.
