3,165 billion soms allocated for road repairs in 2025
At least 3,165 billion soms are allocated for road repairs and reconstruction in 2025. The money will be taken from the road fund. Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan, Beknazar Bazaraliev, announced at a meeting of the Committee on Transport, Communications, Architecture and Construction of the Parliament.
According to him, 100 million soms have been separately reserved for the repair of Korumdu-Balbay section of Issyk-Kul ring road.
The deputy minister told the deputies that the road fund budget for 2025 has been approved in the amount of 4,440 billion soms. At least 1,150 billion soms of this amount will be spent on the purchase of special equipment for road construction. Expenses for the maintenance of the road fund have been approved in the amount of 24 billion soms.
Parliament is considering a bill on the transfer of expenses for the maintenance of the secretariat of the road fund to the republican budget.
