Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet proposes to resume Yekaterinburg — Tamchy flight
First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev met with Deputy Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast of Russia Vasily Kozlov, who arrived in Bishkek for a working visit.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in such areas as education, culture, investment, energy, mechanical engineering, transport, tourism, light and processing industries.
Particular attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the field of tourism, including the resumption of Yekaterinburg — Tamchy flight, which is expected to significantly increase the tourist flow between the regions.
Daniyar Amangeldiev noted that Kyrgyzstan plans to act as a partner country at Summer 2025 exhibition in Yekaterinburg, and invited residents of the Urals to take advantage of the opportunities for sanatorium-resort care and health improvement in the republic.
Vasily Kozlov emphasized the interest of the Sverdlovsk Oblast in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic and expressed readiness to intensify work to attract investment from the region to promising projects in Kyrgyzstan.
