The capital of Kyrgyzstan is in 278th place out of 327.
When compiling the ranking, experts take into account the cost of housing, its rent, food prices, the cost of visiting restaurants and the purchasing power of the population.
The cost of living in Bishkek is higher than in St. Petersburg (285th place), Tashkent (288th) and Yekaterinburg (298th place).
The top 3 are the Swiss cities of Zurich, Lausanne and Geneva (1st, 2nd, 3rd places, respectively). The cost of living index in Zurich is 103.8, Lausanne — 100.9, Geneva — 100.7.
New York with an index of 100 takes the 4th place.
