Bishkek City Hall's digital services subjected to DDoS attack
Center for Digital Technologies municipal enterprise of the Bishkek City Hall recorded a DDoS attack on the city’s digital infrastructure. The incident occurred on January 13 at 6 p.m. The attack was carried out from the external network of the Internet space. The press service of the municipality reported.
Due to the cyberattack, intermittent disruptions have been observed in the operation of key digital services, including the websites meria.kg and e-meria.kg, as well as My City mobile application.
Specialists of the Center for Digital Technologies together with the communications provider are working to restore the stable operation of the system. An analysis of the nature of the attack is being carried out and additional measures are being developed to strengthen the protection of the digital infrastructure.
