More than 2 million square meters of housing commissioned in Kyrgyzstan
The volume of housing commissioned in 2024, according to preliminary data, exceeded 2 million square meters. The State Construction Agency of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the agency, the construction sector grew by 137 percent in 2024. In total, 2,027 million square meters of housing were commissioned. These figures are record for Kyrgyzstan in the entire history of the construction industry.
Construction of 230 social facilities was completed at the expense of the republican budget, master plans for 131 settlements were developed.
As part of the modernization of the construction industry, the technical testing base was updated, digitalization was introduced in the State Construction Agency system, and Construction Standards and Regulations of other countries were adopted to increase investment attractiveness.
