Woman dies in hospital after being beaten by husband in Aksy district
A woman died in a hospital in Aksy district after being beaten by her husband. The press service of the Internal Affairs Department of Jalal-Abad region reported.
Doctors reported the incident to the police. On the night of January 10, the 50-year-old woman was admitted to the district hospital by ambulance, unconscious, her entire body was covered in bruises.
The victim was diagnosed with «acute disorder of cerebral circulation.» The woman died next morning at 9.22 a.m.
The brother of the deceased contacted law enforcement agencies with a statement and asked them to take action against the woman’s husband. A criminal case was opened under the article «Causing grievous bodily harm.»
Her husband was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
