Recall, Salim Abduvaliev was sent to prison on March 19 last year. The Mirabad District Court found him guilty under Article 248 (illegal trafficking of firearms, ammunition, main parts of firearms, explosives, means of detonation or explosive devices) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sentenced him to six years in prison.

The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan put the Uzbek businessman on the wanted list in early August 2024.

As it was reported, as part of the investigative activities, facts of financing the activities of the organized criminal group of Kamchybek Asanbek (Kamchi Kolbaev), who was a member of the international criminal group «Brotherly Circle», by one of the major entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan, Abduvaliev Salim Kirgizbaevich (crime boss, informal leader of members of the organized criminal group of the Republic of Uzbekistan, last year convicted of illegal possession of firearms), were revealed.

«It was found out that Salim Abduvaliev, being the leader of criminal elements in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also having direct influence in the CIS countries due to the organization of illegal channels for the transportation of drugs to European countries, established a connection and systematically provided material assistance to Kamchi Kolbaev, and also supported and contributed to his becoming the leader of the criminal world of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as in the territory of the countries of Central Asia among other influential criminal authorities of the region.

At the same time, Kamchybek Asanbek and Salim Abduvaliev were in close relations, as evidenced by Kolbaev’s repeated visits to celebrations and other events organized by the Uzbek crime boss,» the State Committee for National Security said in the statement.
