Akylbek Japarov tasked with equalizing salaries of doctors and MPs
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov tasked the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov with equalizing the salaries of doctors and MPs. The latter reported this at a meeting of the Parliament.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that this year the wage fund reached 145.6 billion soms, while in 2019 the country’s budget was 148 billion soms.
«We will restore order in 2025. We will significantly increase the salaries of doctors in 2026. There is an instruction from the president to equalize the salaries of doctors and lawmakers. We will not stop until we achieve this,» Akylbek Japarov said.
Earlier, the Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliv said that doctors in the regions of Kyrgyzstan receive up to 100,000 soms per month. In response, doctors stated that these figures are very far from reality.
