Naryn — Oruk-Tam road is closed to traffic until April 15, 2025. The press service of Kyrgyzavtozhol-Sever state enterprise under the Ministry of Transport reported.
According to it, the road is closed based on the order of the head of Naryn district state administration No. 393-b dated November 14, 2024.
«Naryn — Oruk-Tam road from the 50th (Eki-Naryn village) to the 75th kilometer (Kapchygai section) cannot be serviced in winter due to difficult weather conditions, as well as the risk of avalanches. In this regard, in order to ensure the safety of citizens and to avoid large material costs, this section of the road is closed to motor vehicles from November 14 of this year to April 15, 2025,» the document says.
The state enterprise noted that Naryn — Oruk-Tam road is closed annually from November to April.
