Miss Russia detained at Vnukovo for jewelry smuggling
Miss Russia and First Vice Miss World 2015 Sofia Nikitchuk was detained at Vnukovo for smuggling jewelry worth 12 million rubles. Telegram channel 112 reported.
The value of the jewelry was estimated at about 12 million rubles. The issue of initiating a criminal case for smuggling and evasion of customs duties is being decided. Sofia Nikitchuk could face up to five years in prison.
She has not yet been detained, the statement says.
