OTS summit: Sadyr Japarov proposes to create library of Turkic peoples
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov proposed at a meeting of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to create a library of the Turkic peoples to preserve and popularize the common cultural heritage.
According to him, this project will become a symbol of the unity of the Turkic world and a platform for cultural exchange.
«We are confident that the library of the Turkic peoples will awaken a sense of unity between our peoples, enrich cultural ties and strengthen cooperation. The OTS support will create a solid foundation for cultural cooperation and open up opportunities for educational and cultural events,» Sadyr Japarov said.
He noted that Turkic institutions are already implementing many interstate, national projects and events, and expressed gratitude to the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation for the implementation of the project on restoration and turning Alykul Osmonov’s house in Bishkek into a museum.
