ADB invited to participate in Kambarata HPP 1 project
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received Vice-President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Yingming Yang. The press service of the head of state reported.
The head of state invited ADB to participate in the implementation of Kambarata HPP 1 project, which will not only meet domestic demand for electricity, but also create opportunities for export to neighboring countries.
«In turn, ADB Vice-President Yingming Yang expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized that the bank highly appreciates the success achieved by Kyrgyzstan in social and economic development. ADB observes the sustainable progressive development of the republic, which is confirmed by both the data in the reports and real changes,» the statement says.
According to the press service, Yingming Yang expressed readiness to continue to provide comprehensive support to the Kyrgyz Republic, especially in such priority areas as hydropower and renewable energy sources, climate projects, as well as social programs that promote inclusive development.
