Candidate for deputy to City Council detained for calls for riots in Toktogul
A candidate for deputy to the City Council, Bolot Duishenaliev, was detained in Toktogul. The Department of Internal Affairs of Jalal-Abad region confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
A criminal case was opened under the article «Mass riots». By the decision of the court, the member of the Erkin El party was taken in custody until November 22. The investigation is ongoing.
Bolot Duishenaliev considers his detention illegal, a political order and pressure. According to him, he has never committed mass riots.
He asked the President Sadyr Japarov and the head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev for assistance.
